Description

The Classical Black Readers Theatre Series offers two plays per season, which are performed in a traditional readers theatre style. Plays are selected from the works of African-American playwrights who wrote between the late 1800’s through the Black Theatre Movement (1970’s). Following each reading a guest playwright will host a symposium that will highlight historical and artistic facts of the play and playwright.
